Clay Siegall is the Co-founder and Chairman of Seattle Genetics. He established the company in 1998 and has been its Chief Executive Officer from November 2002 and its President since 2000. Clay’s resume reveals that he has more 25 years of experience in cancer research. His career began in 1988 when he worked for National Cancer Institute. In 1991, Siegall joined Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceutical Research Institute until 1997. At present, Siegall serves on the Board of Directors in charge of numerous companies that include Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical and Alder BioPharmaceuticals. Also, Siegall is a renowned author and an innovative scientist who holds numerous patents.
Dr. Siegall has been a recipient of my awards throughout his career. For instance, his relentless abilities secured him the Pacific Northwest Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2012. The exceptional scientist earned his Ph.D. from George Washington University. He also holds a B.S from the University of Maryland.
